If you're someone who's overwhelmed by all the different types to diversify and invest your money for retirement. Then this is the book for you! It's a quick and informative read.
David spoke at a convention for insurance agents in California. I wish I could have heard him speak as everyone raved about it. I did get the book on Kindle Unlimited and was blown away. David has a engaging style of writing and simplifies the Indexed Life product so anyone can understand it. If I didn't already have an IUL, this book would have made me talk to my agent about getting one. I'm the operations manager for an insurance district office and after reading this book, we ordered enough to share with all of our agents. Read it and when you're done find an insurance agent who knows the product well and buy the product. You will thank yourself when you retire.
As a young professional just starting out in my job, I wanted to take a closer look into a retirement plan as my job didn't have the option for a 401k. I was skeptical about the book thinking that all the terms would be over my head and I will be as confused about the Alternate Retirement Plan as I was when I started the book. To my surprise and pleasure, that wasn't the case. David M. Porter did a great job of not only explaining basic terms that I needed a refresher on, but also managed to make the book fun, easy, and informative. I don't feel like I was blindly being told all the positives of this retirement plan. He lays out the good the bad and the ugly, but when you read this book I think you will find that there are way too many positives to pass this up. Highly recommended!!

And having it in book form, I can underline or highlight things I want to remember and go back to review. Everyone needs this information, especially those who don't know what to do about retirement. Don't just do what someone else did. Find out the facts for yourself and make an intelligent decision. It could make you a millionaire or stop you short of your retirement goals.
What a great tool for families, business owners, and other professionals. Understanding what is carrying a legacy beyond retirement and how life is affected beyond someone's passing is vital and needed, and David does an excellent job at providing the necessary foundations. David takes a very difficult topic and presents it in a way that is easy to understand for anyone that reads his book. The concepts are laid out very well and he presents the ups and downs of each topic presented in his book. It is a quick read, took a couple hours, it leaves you with the information it sets out to deliver from the start of the book. Good for people that sell and people looking to buy life insurance.
